Situation
Fresh Start is an all-volunteer, sustainable scholarship foundation empowering Delaware women to achieve more. 25 years later and $1.46M in scholarships awarded, the organization has directly impacted the lives of 661 women in times of crisis and need with financial support for college and a community of mentorship and empowerment.
Struggling with an impossible to manage website and an outdated scholarship application process, Fresh Start came to us with the goals of digitizing the Fresh Start Scholarship application and mobilizing the Delaware community to get more actively involved in their mission.
Content Strategy & UX Design Approach
We started by exploring the current site to better organize the site into content and navigation that scholars and donors would understand. From there, we developed wireframes to ensure the navigation design and new online scholarship application was intuitive and user centric.
